A Club Penguin Music Video (CPMV) is a music video for a song whose visuals are created in Club Penguin, with the penguin(s) typically singing the lyrics. When the penguins are dressed in cosplay of other fictional characters, this is also sometimes called a Club Penguin Cosplay Music Video (CPCMV). The CPCMV sub-genre was pioneered by MACKLEMAEDA Productions LLC in 2017 and has since become a staple of the brand. Since the closure of Club Penguin in the same year, most CPMVs created since have been filmed on various independently Club Penguin Private Servers (CPPSes), many of which allow for more creative freedom in costume and set design.
